Coaching Staff

2024 - Director of Hockey / Head Coach

Emmalee attended and played club hockey at Stonehill College from 2018-2022 and received a Master's Degree in Athlete Performance and Development at Boston College in 2023. During the 2022-23 season, Emmalee was a member of the Boston Bruins DEI Scouting Program, continuing to grow and evaluate players at a high level. She now serves as the New England Region Scout for Pilot Mound Hockey Academy and Head Coach of the Marblehead Hollyhocks U14 team. Beginning in the 2024-2025 season, Emmalee will serve as the Girls Program Director of the Boston Americans and coach the U12 Tier 1 and U14 Tier 1 teams. Her 15+ years of experience coaching and playing the sport provides players with a knowledgeable and dynamic approach to the game. Her work developing players spans from youth to college and junior hockey players. 

Head Coach - Goalies

Tim Briley grew playing in the Andover Youth Hockey Program followed by a lengthy career with the Islander Hockey Program. He went on to play four years at Central Catholic, a team that he helped lead to the post-season three years in a row. Most recently, he played one season in the Eastern Hockey League with the New Jersey Bears. Timmy is currently playing at the University of Delaware for the Blue Hens!

Assistant Coach 

 Zoe Solomons is a dedicated hockey player and coach from Saugus, Massachusetts. She developed her skills with the Shamrocks and North Shore Wings clubs before graduating from St. Mary’s Girls Hockey in 2020. Zoe continued her hockey career at the University of Southern Maine, excelling both athletically and academically, earning multiple NEHC All-Academic Team honors and the William B. Wise Scholar-Athlete award three times. Passionate about giving back to the sport, Zoe coaches for the Boston Americans Girls program, helping the next generation of players thrive on and off the ice. 

Assistant Coach 

 Jack Stewart grew up in Groveland, MA, where he began his hockey journey with Triton Youth Hockey. He went on to have a standout high school career, playing for both Pentucket High School and Central Catholic High School. After graduating, Jack took a post-grad year at North Shore Hockey Academy, competing with their U18 AAA Prep team. For the 2024-25 season, he played with the Valley Junior Warriors in the EHL program based in Haverhill, MA. Jack brings a wealth of experience and knowledge, offering valuable insights to players looking to elevate their game to the next level! 

Assistant Coach

Meggie is currently a Senior forward at Stonehill College in Easton, MA playing on their women's club team. She hails from the Andover area, playing for Andover Youth Hockey and the Islanders Club program. She then spent four years on the Girls Varsity Central Catholic Hockey team playing forward. This is her second season coaching with 23 Hockey, and she is excited to share her knowledge and experience.

Goalies Asst. Coach

Joey grew up in the Andover, MA area playing youth hockey for the Valley Junior Warriors. He went on to play four years at Central Catholic High School, a team that he helped lead to the post-season three years in a row. During his final year at CCHS, he played on the Valley Junior Warriors U18 AAA team out of Haverhill, MA. Following graduation, he did one post-grad year at Kents Hill School, playing both basketball and hockey. Joey currently attends Lynn University.
