Coaching Staff

Director of Hockey / Head Coach 

Emmalee played club hockey at Stonehill College from 2018 to 2022 and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Athlete Performance and Development from Boston College in 2023. She was part of the Boston Bruins' DEI Scouting Program during the 2022–23 season, continuing to evaluate players at a high level. From 2022 to 2024, she served as the New England Regional Scout for Pilot Mound Hockey Academy and was the Head Coach of the Marblehead Hollyhocks U14 team during the 2023–24 season. Beginning in 2024, Emmalee took on the role of Girls Program Director for the Boston Americans, where she coaches the U16 Half Season, U14 Major, and U10 Minor teams. With over 15 years of combined playing and coaching experience, Emmalee brings a dynamic, player-centered approach that supports development from youth through college and junior levels.

Head Coach - Goalies

 Meghan Walsh, a Woburn, MA native, is a former standout goaltender who played three years of Varsity Hockey at Arlington Catholic before continuing her career at Worcester State. She has spent the past two years as an assistant coach and goalie development coach at Arlington Catholic, bringing her experience and passion for the game to the next generation of players. Meghan is entering her second season with the Boston Americans, serving as the Head Coach of the U14 Minor and U12 Minor teams.

Assistant Coach

 Brian Marshall is an Assistant Coach for the Boston Americans U14 Major team and has been part of the Americans coaching staff for the past three seasons. Currently Peabody resident, Brian grew up playing both hockey and baseball before ultimately choosing to pursue baseball at Southern Maine University. He also serves as the President of Peabody Youth Hockey, where he is actively involved in growing the game and supporting player development at all levels. In the off-season, Brian coaches skills sessions with 23 Hockey, focusing on fundamental development, hockey IQ, and building confident, well-rounded players.  

Assistant Coach

  Casey Kelley is a Wilmington, Massachusetts native and former varsity defenseman at Malden Catholic. Throughout her youth hockey career, she played for the Boston Americans, Boston Shamrocks, and Minutemen Flames, developing a strong defensive game and a team-first mentality. Casey is currently continuing her education at Drury University, where she competes on the Women's Rugby team. She brings a competitive spirit, leadership, and a passion for helping young athletes develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game. 

Assistant Coach

 Brayden Hayes is a Peabody, Massachusetts native and former varsity hockey player at Malden Catholic. He currently competes for the University of New Hampshire Men's Club Hockey team in the ACHA, where he continues to develop his game at the collegiate level. Brayden brings a strong passion for teaching, a competitive mindset, and firsthand experience from both high school and college hockey. He is committed to helping players build confidence, sharpen their skills, and reach their full potential. 

Assistant Coach

Tim Briley grew playing in the Andover Youth Hockey Program followed by a lengthy career with the Islander Hockey Program. He went on to play four years at Central Catholic, a team that he helped lead to the post-season three years in a row. Most recently, he played one season in the Eastern Hockey League with the New Jersey Bears. Timmy is currently playing at the University of Delaware for the Blue Hens!

Assistant Coach 

  Keira Schaub is a junior at the University of Michigan, where she plays hockey and is pursuing a degree in biology. Originally from St. Joseph, MI, she previously played for the Grand Rapids Griffins 19U program. She began her collegiate career at Adrian College, helping the team reach the NCAA Division III national semifinals. With four years of coaching experience, she brings both competitive insight and a strong passion for developing young players. 

Assistant Coach

 Brian Cebula, a native of Dracut, MA, developed through the Islanders U18 AAA program before advancing to junior hockey with the Valley Jr. Warriors in the EHL. He went on to commit to Anna Maria College, continuing his playing career at the collegiate level. During the 2024–25 season, Brian skated with the Gold Kings in the PPSHL, further sharpening his skills in a competitive post-collegiate environment. 

Assistant Coach 

 Jack Stewart grew up in Groveland, MA, where he began his hockey journey with Triton Youth Hockey. He went on to have a standout high school career, playing for both Pentucket High School and Central Catholic High School. After graduating, Jack took a post-grad year at North Shore Hockey Academy, competing with their U18 AAA Prep team. For the 2024-25 season, he played with the Valley Junior Warriors in the EHL program based in Haverhill, MA. Jack brings a wealth of experience and knowledge, offering valuable insights to players looking to elevate their game to the next level! 

Assistant Coach

Meggie is currently a Senior forward at Stonehill College in Easton, MA playing on their women's club team. She hails from the Andover area, playing for Andover Youth Hockey and the Islanders Club program. She then spent four years on the Girls Varsity Central Catholic Hockey team playing forward. This is her second season coaching with 23 Hockey, and she is excited to share her knowledge and experience.
